About the Author:

Photo of Dr. Kenneth Shore

Dr. Kenneth Shore is a licensed clinical psychologist who worked in the Hamilton Township (NJ) Public Schools for over 25 years. He has also worked for the federal government, evaluating educational legislation, and served as a consultant to the New York City Board of Education and a consulting psychologist to the New Jersey Juvenile Justice Commission.

Dr. Shore is the author of six books for parents and educators, some of which have been translated into Arabic, Chinese and Korean. Bullying Prevention for Students with Disabilities is his fifth laminated laminated guide for National Professional Resources. He has also written numerous articles for parenting and professional publications, appeared on CNN and PBS, and has been a frequent guest on radio.

Currently, Dr. Shore maintains a private practice in Mercer County, NJ, where he councils families as well as individuals (children and adults). In addition, he provides presentations and workshops for parent and professional groups on topics such as educating/parenting children with special needs, bullying, classroom management and more.
